SWP ADDS VOLVO PENTA ENGINES
Southwest Products recently added Volvo Penta off-highway industrial engines to its lineup, offering customers highly reliable and durable option to power their equipment. Southwest Products now offers Volvo Penta’s 8-16 liter range of Tier 4 Final engines. Volvo Penta’s off-highway engines are characterized by their low emission levels, low weight, compact design and easy installation that make them perfect for agriculture equipment applications. They deliver superior engine performance, reduced environmental impact and higher fuel-efficiency.
The engines have a long history of success and offer customers in the agriculture industry a proven Tier 4 Final emissions standard option, the highest level of emissions standards. This means Volvo Penta engines give customers heavy-duty power in an environmentally-friendly manner.
A major benefit of Volvo Penta’s off-highway engines is low cost of ownership for end users – with high-efficiency combustion and lower fuel consumption, life cycle cost is low. The engines are one of the few in their class that have selective catalytic reduction (SCR) that does not require a DPF solution, passing on cost savings to the customer. The Volvo Penta SCR system has low cooling demand, meaning lower noise levels. SWP is excited to expand its product offering with Volvo Penta off-highway engines and help power customers with greater fuel efficiency and heavy duty performance.
